I still can't believe she you are no longer with us Lupe, yesterday was mother's day and I thought of you and my mom all day. So many stories, so many anecdotes, so many happy memories that are only in my mind, the rest left with you and my mom. I guess is our responsibility to keep them alive so you can live through them.
One that always makes me laugh is when we bought those expensive dresses to go to a New Yea's eve party at Holiday Inn in San Francisco and we got in sat down and we were ready to have the best time ever, when a guy asked if he could join us, you said sure! and after a few seconds, he said, " I just got out of the Pen! and you said, really? then looked at me and told me, "we got to go to the bathroom" and me being stupid, said, no, I don't have to go now, and you got up and pull me saying, "oh yes we do, we need to go to the bathroom" once there you told me, "he just got out of the Pen!! and I didn't know what the pen was, so I said, What's the Pen?? and you screamed "the Penitentiary let's get the hell out of here!! so that's was our very fancy night!
Stories like that and the one when we went to see Howie Mandel, when he first started, always makes me laugh, you were funny, feisty and strong little one, you will live in my memory I have so many stories with you, the last one when we went to eat fried green tomatoes! and so many more, I'll make sure my kids remember you and your stories just like I remember you. Love you and miss you!!
